Chicago and Atlanta

Hey everyone!
I just got back from a good trip to Chicago and Atlanta!
I went to Chicago to visit with the staff from International Teams. I had kind of a debrief time of my first two years as a missionary, and also talked about my future in ministry… and as a wife! It was a really great time… in spite of the fact that I’d never been in sub-zero weather before, it was an experience!

This picture pretty much sums up the Chicago weather... :)

After a couple days in Chicago, I headed out to Atlanta and stayed with Julian and Whitney and their girls. (They were missionaries in Querétaro for four years, and left about a year ago). I was able to visit Buckhead Church, a campus of North Point – the church that Horizonte Querétaro is a partner church of. I also got to visit with several people who I’d met when they came to QRO on short term teams from North Point.

Whitney took me to various places in Atlanta, like the Coke Museum, the CNN headquarters, and other downtown things. I LOVED sampling all the Coke products in the museum!! I also had a good time just being able to chat with Whitney and Julian, and play with the girls.

Next week it’s off to Disneyland with my parents! Then on the 28th I’m back to Querétaro!!!
